AIR SUPERSTITION.
A NAMESAKE’S DEATH. LONDON, July 30. Captain C. H. Barnard withdrew from the race for the King’s Cup. He is not related to Captain F. L. Barnard (who was killed on ' Thursday while testing a ’plane which he proposed to fly in this race), but is superstitious owing to his namesake’s death.
