STRIKE IN MANILA.
DECK WORKER’S DEMANDS. Received June 15, 9.40 a.m. MANILA, June 14. Shipping in the Manila Harbour is badly cripppled by a strike of 1000 deck workers demanding higher wages, it is feared that the strike is likely to spread to the other labourers and tie the shipping up entirely.—A. and N.Z. cable.
