Damages amounting to £IOOO were awarded in the Supreme Court at Wellington to Isabella Henderson, who claimed £ISOO from Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., and Thomas Flannery, alleging that her . husband's death had' been caused through the negligence "of defendants. The claim was the outcome of a motor accident on the Blairlogies Road. near Masterton, on November 17. Plaintiff's lato husband was a passenger in a service ear, driven by Ivan Gray,, and, which was involved in a collision with a car owned by defendant company and driven by Flannery. Plaintiff alleged that the accident was the outcome of defendant’s reckless driving, and that hor husband had been so badly injured that ho died on January 16, 1927.
