OAVNER GIVES CHASE. JOYRIDER IN CUSTODY. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND. June 15. A car owned by Air J. Paul, the Y.AI.C.A. secretary at tjie Public AYorks camp at Tamaki, was taken from its parking place in Grafton Road last night. Air Paul had been at a party. He came out in time to see the vehicle gliding away. AVith two friends Ire gave chase. The car stopped at the bottom of a hill, the occupants going down in neutral gear. Being unable to get it to go further, two men jumped out and the pursuers caught olio hiding in the Domain undergrowth. Though the prisoner twice hroko loose, Air Paul and his companions got him again, eventually pinioning tlie joyrider and immediately removing him to tho police station.
