NATIONS’ ARMAMENTS.
PROPOSED REDUCTIONS
DIVERGENCE OF OPINION,
Received April 22, 12.15 a.m. GENEVA, April 21. The absence of M. Paul Boncour (France) from the resumed sittings of the preparatory disarmament commission is generally, interpreted as France’s conviction that the basic divergence of opinion renders further discussion useless. Viscount Cecil is ill and is unable to attend.—A. and N.Z. cable and Reuter.
