CAMOUFLAGED CAVALRY.

GERMANY’S HORSEMEN

LONDON, April 9

So-called “Societies of Equitation” that have sprung up in occupied Germany have led to correspondence between the Inter-Allied Rhineland Commission and the Reich’s Minister. Tire societies’ activities show remarkable finesse, in which, while developing horsemanship to the extent required of a cavalryman, outwardly do not infringe the occupation regulations.

The societies declare that they, have not detected any drilling, but it is difficult to divide “haute ecole” and# cavalry training. The societies declare that they are solely concerned with the improvement of horse breeding.
