WIDE AREA OF COAST.

WINTRY WEATHER IN SYDNEY

Received April 21, 1.10 p.m. ■ SYDNEY, April 21. A much wider area of the coast was s-vopt by the storm than was at first thought. Considerable areas of country in the Shoalhraven, Wallamba and Manning River districts are reported to be in a flooded state. A number of cit tie are reported to have been drowned. The weather in Sydney is now bright, but it is still wintry. Tb. seas at the site of tho Rivenna standing have abated considerably, but efforts to get the towline aboard from the Goulburn have been unsuccessful. Further attempts will be made ta-day, when, it is expected, the tug St. Giles will have arrived.
