SCULLING CHAMPIONS.
COMPLICATED POSITION. LONDON, April 6. Barry states that Major Goodsell lias cabled accepting his challenge, but Barry has cabled suggesting that a date in June is much too early. He suggests the end of July or the beginning of August. He adds that Hannan’s visit to America complicates matters. He is willing to participate in a sweepstakes or meet Hannan to decide who is to row the champion. Barry emphasises his ambition to scull on the Parramatta, but he will not mind going to California if assured of a race for the title.—Svdney Sun cable.
