AUCKLAND, April 7. Mr Compton, organiser of six of the twelve principal art unions, has prepared a statement showing that £73.100 was spent in advertising, the profits being as follow: —“Mammoth,” £17.000; “Gigantic,” £18,500; “All Gold,” £20.000; “Colossal,” £18,000; “Grand National,” £22.000; “Big Three,” £18,600; “Independent,” £9000; “Golden Treasure,” £3000; “El Dorado,” £3000; “Kai Ora” (approx.), £1500; “Golden Climax,” £100; “Now or Never” (estimated), £500.'
