Gordon Swift, 9.6 1 Asleep, 9.13 2 Sir Moment, 9.6 3 All started. Won by half a length, a length between second and third. Time, 1.43 1-5. TRIAL STAKES, of 110 sovs. Five furlongs. Mandarine, 5.2 1 Chlorine, 8.7 2 Eloquent, 8.7 3 Scratched: Voronia. Won by a length, two lengths between second and third. Time, 1.3. TELEPHONE HANDICAP, of 110 sovs. Six furlongs. Ruakura, 7.7 1 Kilmezzo, 8.8 2 Addelpate, 8.0 3 Scratched: Wailong. Won by half a length, a similar distance between second and third. Time, 1.14 1-5. RACES AT INVERCARGILL. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, April 7. The second day of the race meeting is being held in fine but windy weather. Results: MYROSS HANDICAP, of 150 sovs. Seven furlongs. 3 Lady Tractor, 7.12 1 1 King Balboa, 8.8 2 2 Takaka, 7.10 3 All started. Won by one and a-half lengths. Time, 1.36.
