FIRE AT TUAKAU.

PUKEKOHE, March 16. A five-roomed house at Tuakau occupied by Si W. Turley and owned by Miss Ellen Geraghey, of Tauranga, was destroyed l by fire yesterday afternoon. In the absence of a water supply the flames spread rapidly and nothing was saved. The contents were insured for £3OO, but the details of the insurance on the house are unavailable.
