DOMESTIC TROUBLES.

HUSBAND’S ALLEGED THREATS. “I’LL KILL YOU AND FINISH IT.” Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March, 16. In the Police Court Barbara Menzies sought to have her husband, Algernon Chichester Campbell Menzies, aged 48, bound over to keep the peace, alleging that he had threatened to kill her. The parties have been separated since July of last year. Complainant, in evidence, said that on March 8 her husband insisted on seeing his children and said to her: “This is no good to me. I’m going to see the kiddies or I’ll kill you and then do for myself and finish it all up.” Menzies denied that he threatened to kill his wife and said that he was anxious to see his children.

Accused having been in custody for several days the action was adjourned for six months with a proviso that it could be brought up at any time.
