ELECTION OF OFFICERS

WELLINGTON, March 16
At the Congregational Union Assembly the election of officers resulted ns follows: —Chairman elect for 1928, Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher; secretary and moderator, Rev. Harry Johnston; treasurer, Mr F. Meadowcroft; editor of the Congregationalist, Mr I. Gardner Miller; registrar, Mr H. J. Ralph; auditor, Mr H. Miller. Committees were set up for departments of youth, public morals and credentials and qualifications. The next assembly will be at Dunedin. A resolution was adopted to support Mr Isitt’s Bible in Schools BUI. The proceedings conclude this evening,
