METHODIST BOARD’S MEETING. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 1. At the annual meeting of the Board of the Methodist Foreign Mission, Nurse Edna White and Miss McDonald were accepted for work in the Solomon Islands. They will leave about June. It was decided to" request the conference to appoint the Rev. Scotter secretary, and J. W. Court, lay treasurer, to represent the New Zealand Church at the semi-jubilee celebrations at the Solomon Islands next August. The following officers were elected: —Rev. Sinclair, general secretary; Rev. Goldie, chairman of the mission district; Rev. Marshall and Mr J. Court, treasurers; Mr L. Knight, aduitor.
