WARMTH FROM THE SUN. LONDON, Jan. 21. “The belief that the sun gives light and warmth is a vulgar, childish error,” said the Italian Professor V Luce at ini, speaking in Milan. The rays, be added, were warm and lightgiving merely because they encountered the resistance of the terrestrial atmosphere.
