Notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Pohangina County Council to borrow from . the Public Trustee the sum of £450 under the provisions of the Local Bodies Loans Act, ?913, for a period of 20 years' at 6 per cent, per annum, for the purpose of making a deviation in the Apiti-Elmbolton Main "Highway between sections. 43 and 41, Block X., Apiti Survey District. For the payment of interest on ’which sum at 6 per cent, per annum and the repayment fcf principal at 2 per cent, per annum the Pohangina County Council proposes to make a special rate of ope-sixty-seconda of a penny in the. pound sterling on the capital rateable va'.ue of all the rateable • property in the Apiti-Kimbolton Main Highway Deviation Rating District, sucn rate to be an annually recurring rate until the loan is fully paid off. The cost of raising the loan and interest and sinking fund for the first year are to be paid out of the loan. * A poll will be taken on the 21st day of January, 1927, at the Apiti Public Hall between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. for the purpose of obtaining the ratepayers’ consent to such loan. x A.
