FISH CHOKED.

BY MUDDY FLOOD WATERS. BRISBANE, Dec. 22. Choked by the muddy flood waters, six tons of dead fish have been removed from the upper reaches of the Brisbane river in the vicinity of the Mt. Crosby pumping station to prevent the contamination of the city water supply. It took 18 men with a boat two days to clear away the dead fish, which were buried in trenches above the flood level.
