CENSORSHIP OBJECTEP TO. Received December 31, 12.20 p.m. WASHINGTON, Dec. 30. Admiral Latimer, comm ending the United States forces in Nicaragua, on on Thursday notified the State Department, which previously announced that it had no knowledge of the censorship there, that all radio censorship in the neutral, zone had been removed. The message said the censorship was established for the purpose of maintaining a neutrality zone by preventing the sending of military instructions or information by either side. Juan Lacasa, president of the Liberal Government established at Puerto Cabezas, sent a message on Thursday asserting that the declaration that the neutral zone was for the protection of foreign interests was only the apparent reason. The real motive was the protection of the Conservative Government ond President Diaz in Managua, Juan Sacasa said that as all his movements were impeded by American officers imposing the censorship his message would suffer censorship.”—A. and N.Z. cable.
