SEA SERVICE

VALUE TO THE NATION. AUCKLAND, July 26. Commodore A. F. Beal, who leaves for England shortly, was farewelled by the Royal Navy Reserve and a detachment from the Sea Scouts, and men from H.M.S. Dunedin and Philomel. The Commodore, addressing the parade, stressed the value of sea service to the men of the reserve. Ho trusted that many of tho Scouts' would join th.e navy and that those who could not do so woffltl join the reserve. The proceedings ended with three cheers for tho Coxnmodore.
