Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, July 23. In the Legislative Council to-day Hon- L. M. Isitt gave notice of his intention to introduce his Religious Exercises in Schools Bill. In committee on the Census and Statistics Bill the North versus South argument was raised to some extent over the direction of electoral boundaries and- Hon. G. Witty, moved first in the direction of delaying the next census until 1936 and then for ten year censuses after 1931.. Both amendments were defeated and the bill was passed without amendments. The Evidence Amendment Bill and the Death Duties Amendment Bill were put through their final stages and passed. Replying to a question by Hon. M. Cohen. Sir R. Heaten Rhodes stated that the 'LV'fion of superannuation for nurses in departmental institutions classified as non-permanent was the subject of a report to be submitted to Cabinet by the Public Service Commissioner.
