FEILDING STOCK SALE.
[From Our Own Correspondent.] At the Feilding stock sale to-day there was a largo entry of fat sheep selling at prices below ast week s. There”was a small entry of store sheep. A large yarding of dairy heifers failed to realise the prices required. A good selection of dairy cows was offered, but nearly all were passed in at figures below the reserve. There were a few pens of well finished beef. Prices up to one o’clock were as follow: Fat lnmbs, 16s, 16s 7d, 1/s Id, 1/s /d, 19s, -iqa 3d to 275: ewes, 13s Bd, 15s. 15s 7d 17s Id, 17s 9d, to 22s 7d; wetiiei-s 2‘2s 6d 24s 6d, 265, 26s 9d, 2/s 6d to 31s. One fat wether sold on account of the Queen Carnival realised £o 16s. Four year ewes m lamb to S.D. rams, 183 lid, 19s 6d to 255; dairy heifers 2 and 3-year old springing high grade Jersey heifers, £5 10s, £o 12s 6d £6 2s 6d to £8 10s; Jersey crossbred heifers, £5. Dairy cows were offering below value.
