SAID HE WAS LORD'S SON. CHARGE OF FRAUD. MELBOURNE, July 13. Dinner for 12, with an orchestra of five, and wines, was the order given to the manager of the Hotel Windsor by a young man who said he was the “Hon. T. Clark,” son of a lord. Instead of sitting down to dinner, the young man was met ■by Detective Brophy. To-day plain Tony Clark, aged 24, a chauffeur, was committed for trial for false pretences and fined £5 for obtaining the use of a car by fraud.
