COBHiM IN INDIA. DELHI, July 21. Captain Cobham has arrived here. —Reuter. During the flight from Bagdad to Basra, a distance of 270 nuies, Cobham’s mechanic, Arthur B. Elliott, was hit by an Arab bullet and died. On July 13 Cobham and his new mechanic, Sergeant Ward, aged 25, a Cockney Londoner, left Basra for Bushire, Bunder-Abbas and Karachi. The ijoute now lies across India. Cobham is flying in a De Haviland machine, y fittecl with Siddeley-Jaguar engines.
