BURGLARS BUSY.

PREMISES ENTERED. Two cases of breaking and entering occurred in Palmerston North last evening, but in neither ca.se was anything of value taken by the intruders. The premises of Mr C. J. Allen, photographic dealer. Main street, were broken into, the lock on the front door being prized off. Although the stock consists mainly of cameras and portable goods, apparently nothing was taken. - Marks on the door of a cycle shop adjoining tho former premises show that an unsuccessful attempt was made to effect an entrance. _ The Palace Theatre was visited by burglars during the night but although tho office this morning showed signs ot the raid, nothing of value is reported to have been taken.
