A cordial invitation is accorded citizens to be present at a very pleasant function to bo held in the Council Chambers to-night, when Mrs Z. Gill, superintendent of the Palmerston North Nursing Division, will be presented by His Worship the Mayor with a service medal in recognition of twelve years’ efficient service in the St. John Ambulance Nursing Brigade. Mrs Gill is well-known by the public of this town sjnd thoro should ‘bo a large gathering present this evening to pay tribute to her work.
