SMART FEMALE CRIMINALS. LONDON, June 3. The theft of £3OOO worth of jewels at Charing Cross station, and several recent hauls of diamonds in the post, going to or from Hatton Garden dealers, are believed to be the results of a first-class international gang’s operations. Continental police have warned Scotland Yard to watch for a gang which specialises in railway and postal thefts, and which receives assistance from fashionably dressed women crooks.
