COMING SESSION.

MR STATHAM WILL PROBABLY BE SPEAKER.

(By Telegraph—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, June 14. Hon. C. E. Statham’s re-election as Speaker is apparently assured. The Address-in-Reply will be moved by Mr Tapley (Dunedin) and seconded by a North Islander. Owing to the fact that the preparation of bills is well advanced, and the necessity of Mr Coates leaving for the Imperial Conference, a lengthy session is not anticipated. A Labour Opposition amendment to the Addrcss-in-Reply is expected.
