OUTBREAK OF FIRE.
DAMAGE TO RESIDENCE,
Shortly before 6.30 o’clock this morning the Fire Brigade received a call to College street west, where an unoccupied four-roomed house, owned by Mr T. Birdsall, had been discovered to be ablaze. A fair amount of damage was done before the outbreak could be suppressed, and the interior of the house was more or less gutted. The building was insured for £3OO. Home furniture had been moved in yesterday.
