MAORI TOUR OF FRANCE. ENGLISH CONDITIONS FOR MATCHES. Received April 10, 1.10 p.m. LONDON, April 9. Tho Rugby Union committee discussed the forthcoming Maori tour of France. It was stated that the union was not concerned with the tour in any way and that no representative matches would be played, but subject to the union receiving proper assurances that the financial arrangements of tho tour wero in accord with the amateur laws of the game, it was announced that thero would be no objection to English county and club sides playing against tho Maoris. —Reuter.
