AYo do not become involved in tho political controversies of other countries because they are none of our affairs” Referring to the recent adhering, with reservations, of the United States to the AVoiid Court, President Coolidge said: “Our Government has taken this step because it believes it to be tlie most practical method by which it could exercise its great infiuence in establishing the principle of international law under which disputes and differences would be adjudged not by force but by reason.”—Reuter.
