SCHOOLBOY SUSTAINS FRACTURED LEG.

An unfortunate- accident occurred at the Levin District High School yesterday morning, by which a lad named Stewart Geango sustained a fractured leg whilst playing in tho school shed, The boy was swinging on one of tho rafters, when his hand flipped and lie fell to’ the ground. Although, it is understood, his feet wore not more than about eighteen inches off the ground at tho time lie was swinging, the fall was sufficient to break both hones of a leg. He was admitted to the Palmerston North Hospital where, on enquiry this morning, it was ascertained that lie was progresing favourably.
