RUGBY FOOTBALL.
. Tho Rugby season will no doubt be entered upon in the course of the next few weeks and the management committee of the Alanawatu District Union will hold its first meeting on Tuesday night ,when the dato of the opening, of the local competitions will be fixed. Club secretaries are reminded that the nomination of teams closes that evening and it has been stated that the fixture committee will not consider nominations received after that date. It is also essential that affiliation fees accompany nominations in all grades.
