DUC DE GUISE’S CLAIM. PARIS, April 7. Tho Due do Guise announces his intention to leave France, following a decision to asumo a sclaim to tho succession to tho throne. Considerable surprise has been expressed that the Due de Guise’s decision in assuming the pretendership, resulting in his exilo from France, where he has vast interests, owing to the impossibility of monarchical restoration.—A. and N.Z. cable.
