TORRENTIAL RAIN.
DAMAGE IN NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, April 7. A terrific thunderstorm accompanied torrential rain, swept Adelong and Temora. At the former a valuable assaying plant and buildings were destroyed by lire, after being struck by lightning, and the whole telephone service of tne town lias been disorganised. At Temora rain Hooded the town causing extensive damage.—Press Association.
