CREW RELEASED
CONDITIONS AGREED TO. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, April 7. The crew of the steamer Crossbill were released from prison this evening, they having agreed to return to the ship under conditions set down in writing by tho master. These were to the effect that the charter to tho Pacific Islands had been cancelled and that tho men would receive a bonus of £o for short food received on tho voyage from Adelaide to Ocean Island. Tho vessel will load for Homo. Tho men aro to receive the samo rate of pay as previously.
MAKO TROUBLE SETTLED
VESSEL TO SAIL.
AUCKLAND, April 7,
The crew troublo which detained tho Richardson steamer Mako in port since Monday night has been settled to tho satisfaction of tho parties concerned, and the vessel will sail for Portland to-night.
