CAR IN RIVER

THREE PERSONS ENDANGERED

SYDNEY, March 29,

A sensational motor accident occurred at th© river l'crry at Woodford Leigh. A motor car, driven by C. Boyle, with four passengers, ran down the ferry approach, and was about to board the ferry when tho latter, by some means, moved out from tho bank Th© car plunged into 16ft. of water, carrying with it all except on© passenger, who jumped out.

The other occupants, after a struggle to get free from the car, were able to roach tho bank in safety. The car, after being submerged for some hours, was hauled out.
