GOLF TOURNAMENT.
SECOND ROUND COMMENCED. Tho second round of the championship of the Manawatu Golf Club’s Easter tournament was entered upon this afternoon when A. E. Ekstedt beat W. H. MacMillan 6 and 5. Ekstedt completed tho course in 77. This was the only match concluded when this edition went to press.

Next best after C. Marchbanks (9) 5 up, in this morning’s bogey handicap were the following: A. E. Ekstedt (plus 2), H. G. George (3), It. AY. Cumberworth (4), W. E. Bendall (10), H. H. Hooper (11), each 2 up; 0. H. Druce (4), P. D. JDaniell (6), E. AV. Cave (8), Col. J. G. Hughes (11), E. J. Nathan (11), A. Seifert (2), each 1 up; AV. H. MacMillan (2), L. Seifert (scr.) H. G. Davies (4), T. Crease (9), P. B. Bryden (11), all square.
