RADIO APPEAL.
TRANSFUSION OF BLOOD.
SEVEN MEN OFFER,
MELBOURNE, March 20,
A call for volunteers to submit for transfusion of blood was made by a clergyman early this afternoon.
Within ten minutes there were seven young men waiting on tho doorstep of St. Vincent’s Hospital. They were all eager to give their blood to save the life of John Brown, a little boy who was injured this morning in the street accident In Collingwood.
Blod tests were taken, and two were found satisfactory. Of these one was chosen by tho doctors, and the operation took place.
