TORNADO IN INDIA
FIFTY PEOPLE KILLED. EXTENSIVE DAMAGE DONE. SEVEN VILLAGES DESTROYED. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) Received April 3, 8.55 a.m. LONDON, April 2. A despatch from Calcutta says that 50 were killed and 100 injured and seven villages were destroyed by a tornado which swept the Madaripur district. —A. and N.Z. cable.
