REFUSES TO MEET UNKNOWN

BOSTON, March 13.

Joe Steelier, who occasionally lias been wrestling champion, left the ring so dramatically last night that the police were* called to quell the riot.

Steelier had been scheduled to meet “an unknown,” and when he saw the latter was Joe Malcewitz, Stecher simply got up from his chair and went home. Malcewitz declared that he has been trying to meet Stecher for several months. Last night he took a ringside seat in liis street clothes until Stecher was actually in the ring. Then ho climbed through tho ropes, and Stecher climber out. Steclier’s manager claimed that a money dispute caused tho cancellation of the match. At Chicago at the same hour Strangler Lewis finally bested Wayne Munn, who so dramatically snatched tho championship from him several years ago. .
