EASTER WEATHER.
BRIGHT PROSPECTS IN SYDNEY. SYDNEY, March 31. The weather outlook for the races and Show and for the holidays is now more promising. Heavy rain, which has fallen in the last two days, has censed and further falls are not anticipated. The city is thronged with interested country visitors and there are expected to be record attendances at all holiday attractions. At the Show to-day, the ring events were marred by the sloppy conditions of the ground, and there were many minor accidents, including one to a competitor in a wood-chopping contest, who cut off two of his toes with the last stroke, with which he won tho event.—Press Association.
