BAPTIST Y.W.B.C. CAMP.
The Baptist Young Women’s Bible Class camp will commence at the local showgrounds to-morrow. Approximately 130 campers will arrive this afternoon by tho lato trains and they will represent districts as far distant as Wellington in the south and Napier in the north. The young ladies will be accommodated in the produce hall, and facilities Jiavo been provided for their comfort.
To-morrow at 11 a.m. a public function has been arranged to welcome the visitors to Palmerston North and in the evening a sacred concert, presided over by Mrs Duncumb, will be held on the grounds. At this function it is confidently expected that there will be a largo attendance. During Easter Saturday, study circles and Bible Class Union business will bo attended to, and in the afternoon, commencing at 2 p.m., a sport’s meeting will be conducted oil the Boys’ High [school ground. Provision has been made for a conceit in tho evening, but this entertainment is for campers only. Tho prospects are very bright and everything points to a successful gathering, duo no doubt to the local committee, which has worked hard during the last week.
