Scratched: Bonzora, Toapaiki Subjection, Empire Camp, Sovena, Bank Draft, Flying Shot, Anchor, Mountain Joan. Time, 1.15 1-5. Tilson, the rider of Vanninia in tho hurdles, fractured a leg. RANGITIKEI CUP, of 300 sovs., one and a quarter miles. Glenroes, 8.13 .... 1 The Lamb, 8.1 2 Scratched: Ngata, Yoma, Opa and Vaward. OAMARU RACES. OAMARU, March 24. Tho races are being continued in beautiful weather. There is a fair attendance, but the course is a trifle dead owing to yesterday’s rain. Results : PACIFIC HURDLES, of 130 sovs; li miles. Kapuna, 9.6 1 Coastguard, 9.13 2 Wharncliffe, 10.13 3 All started. Won by four lengths. Time, 2.49 2-5. TRIAL PLATE, of 100 sovs; 6 furlongs. Calcite, 8.6 1 Moratorium, 8.5 2 Royal Reel, 8.5 3 Also started: Kiliroa and Red Heather. Won by two lengths. Timo. 1.17.
