SUBSTANTIAL FINES.
LOITERING FOR BETTING PURPOSES. Per Press Association. • GISBORNE, March 12. At tho Police Court at Tokomaru Bay Arthur Owen and Charles Croon were fined £SO each on charges of loitering for the purposes of betting at Ruatorea in February of last year, the sentence being suspended pending Supremo Court decisions in other cases.
