(From Our Own Correspondent.) POLO TOURNEY. For the "Seville Cup polo tournament the following' is the draw for the first day: - Homobush A v. Christchurch, Hawke’s Bay B v. Feilding B, Wairarapa v, Parewanui. Tho "unfortunate and fatal accident to a player in the Poverty Bay team has prevented them from atking part in the tourney. The Waihou team has also withdrawn. RABBIT BOARDS’ CONFERENCE. Tho annual conference lof the Wellington district rabbit boards will be held in Folding on Tuesday, 23rd inst. It is expected that 19 boards will send representatives and in addition the Director-General of Agriculture, the Minister of Agriculture and local and district stock inspectors will attend. FEILDING-KIMBOLTON ROAD. Tho householders on the Kimbolton road betwoen the reservoir and Kiwitoa bridge recently met to consider the question of the transport of school children attending school -in Feilding. During the past three years the road has become a serious menace to children travelling to school on account of tho heavy motor and stock traffic. It was unanimously decided to write to tho Education Department asking for facilities to convey ohildren living in, this vicinity to school. Over 30 children will benefit, if the request is granted. MANCHESTER STREET SCHOOL. Mr 11. Mclntyre presided over the committee meeting held this week. The headmaster reported that the Attendance for the last two quarters of last year had again placed the school in grade 7. The school staff for the current year would be nine assistants and two probationary assistants. The annual swimming sports will be held on Friday afternoon next. An athletic team would be taken to the Sandon sports on Saturday next to defend the McKelvie Shield. FEILDING ATHLETIC CLUB. Another successful evening meeting was held at Kowhai Park last night in the presence of a good gathering of the public. Results: —One mile, Kerridge 1, Poole 2, Sowerby 3; 14 started. 120 yards, Rosoman 1, Kitchen 2, O. Scotney 3; 7 started. Cycle race, one mile and a-half, Benge 1, Simpson 2, Liddall 3; 5 started.
