LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
TEAM TO VISIT ENGLAND. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 25. The League football team will leave for England about July 15, the financial manager being Mr G. 11. Ponder, of Auckland, and the manager and official coach Mr E. H. Mair. The selectors are: South Island, Mr S. C. 11. Hardingham; North Island, Mr A. T. McClymont; and a third to be appointed by tho Now Zealand Council. Several trial games will be played prior to the choice of the team.
