ATTACK ON EVEREST. LONDON, Jan. 24. The Daily News says that the French aviator Collizo, the holder of tho world’s altitude record of 39,586 feet, accompanied by a cinematographer, intends to make an air attack on Alount Everest. A Bleriot machine is being specially designed fitted for flight in thin air. It-is equipped with oxygen for use at about 25,000 feet. In order to avoid the air currents about Alount Everest, when Collizo reaches tho required height lie will dive towards the summit and drop the French flag, to which will bo attached a sei’sd tube containing an account of the flight.—Sydney Sun cable.
