OFFER MADE BY BRITAIN
LONDON, Jan. 24. Tho diplomatic correspondent of the Sunday. Express says that Air Winston Churchill, Chancellor of tho Exchequer, has given Signor Volpi until Alonday to accept the British offer of 02 annuities of £4,500,000 tor the payment of the Italian war debt. Air Churchill warned Signor Volpi that liis was the final otter. The Express is of opinion that it is amazing that Signor A olpi has shown hesitation in clinching the offer. —A. and N.Z. cable.
