FEILDING v. RANGITIKEI

An inter-association match between Feilding and Rangitikei was played at Marton on Friday. Rain fell in the morning necessitating a postponement until tho afternoon. Tho wicket was in fair order but tho outfield was rough. The Feilding bowlers were in good form. McDonald securing 7 for 24 and Hill 2 for 12. Staples (24), Smith (lb), Gorrio (22) and Broad (15) were the chief scorers for Rangitikei. Feilding won tho match by the close margin of one run.
