Mr J. Garde Grimsh'aw wishes to announce that lie lias resumed teaching (singing) at the studios Garner s Buildings, as from Monday, Januury 25. His method of teaching is the improved Italian method, tlio excellence of which is proved by his pupils’ successes at various comjietitions, amounting to 30 first prizes and two championships during the last three years. For three years in succession the highest individual marks ill any vocal section at the Palmerston North Competitions have been secured by pupils of Mr Grimshaw, with 81, 84 and 89 marks. At the recent Wellington Competitions Miss Bertha Dewe gained a first and second in two sections against 19 competitors, and Miss Maisio Smith gained the highest marks out of 29 competitors in the “own choice” section of Bragg’s scholarship —Advt.
